The best Metallica album ever is and will always be "And Justice For All". It's by far the most aggressive, hardest album they've ever done. It was right before Cliff died and it's also when James Hetfield's voice sounded best and more creative. Master of Puppets is a great album,but his voice then still sounded kinda wenie compared to how it sounds on "And Justice For All". Songs like Blackened, Harvester of Sorrow, and Dyer's Eve are just more intense than all the other new and older Metallica songs. I still think "Orion, Leper Messiah" are one of the greatest songs, but Justice album is my all-time favorite, Masterpiece

I agree, And Justice for All was the best. But my favorite Metallica song will always be Fade to Black.

Best albums are Metallica,they never called it the black album,
And also Justice for all,damm i love ONE,ive been trying to get that down on my guitar but its taking a while,kirk hammet plays to damm fast ,hes a legend

It's hard for me to pick a favorite because I can honestly say that I love just about everything they've done, even after their so-called "sellout" period (i.e. post AJFA). I think there are songs on each album (even Garage Inc. and S&M) that are truly great tracks. Metallica's music has always spoken to me. They are my favorite band of all time. I can't hardly pick a favorite per se, but I'll rank them IMHO.
