hello guys

i havent read any topics in here, but this is my statement... and what i truely belive

ive done diffrent martialarts:
Wingtsun
Jeet kune do
Kickboxing
Thaiboxing "muaythai"
MMA
BJJ "brazlien jiu-jitsu" Gracie style
and Greek - roman wrestling
Karate

i can tell your with honor that the most effektive martialarts is really the most simpleiest "easyest" one to do, wich is Thaiboxing

You got 2kicks, 2knees, 3elbews, and punches... thats really it, what works in the ring against monsters that are 200kg will work on the street

its extremely hard martialarts, and you will get crazy reations... if i should get attacked use a hard low kick and the enemy is down

there is no need for do this then do this then do this and then HIIIJAAA, take any TMA against a thaiboxer or a MMAér and they would die

World class superheavyweight judoka vs. gym scrub thaiboxer. Who wins? My money is on the judoka.

Just because some martial arts/styles are considered "better" than other it is by no means a certainty that whoever practices the better art/style has a "I win"-button on his belt to win against a fighter of a weaker style.

There are other variables than technique that can heavily influence a fight/situation and even the best fighting style to choose for the person.

i kind of agree that its the best, but i dont agree with anything else you said

I know nothing at all about combat sports, but i would think that the athlete would make a huge difference as well besides just the specific discipline i could be wrong thou

Muay Thai is IMHO opinion the best striking art for both the ring and the street. However, classical Muay Thai is week on hand technique. Working with a Western boxing coach is a must for a complete punching game. Also bare hands are different than gloves. A punch that might score a knockout with a glove on can mean a broken hand without the padding. Working with MMA gloves and bare hands are again a necessity. It is highly worthwhile to study with a traditional karateka who does breaking and full contact fighting. While Muay Thai's economy of technique is one of its strengths, other forms of kicks, a particularly the spinning back kick is important for both the ring and the street. Finally, Muay Thai is limited in grappling and training in combat wrestling is a necessity to fight for real. I currently train in Krav Maga, Shan Da, Muay Thai, Western Boxing, Savate, Brazilian Ju Jitsu, Judo, Combat Wrestling, Kempo-Ju Jitsu, Sabaki, Kyokushinkai, and Shidokan Karate, and military and police style combatives. I also lift weights, run, and do body weight exercises. I teach self defense for a living and so I have more time to devote, but with access the the www. anyone can explore across the arts.
