Well if ahe was really RAPED, and you understand what the term means then she needs to first go to the hospital, then inform the autorities. There should be plenty of vaginal bruising, bruising on her body and possibly the attackers skin under her fungernails that the authorities need to take as evidence. Also a vaginal swab will be in order to get any ejaculate for DNA matching. This is a serious crime.

Now if she did not do anything of the above, then it sounds like a girl that had sex with a guy, did not like what she did afterwards maybe because she is ashamed or was drunk and says the dude raped her to improve her self esteem as that makes it "not her fault".

Decide you must what went on, but i would suggest being cool headed and NOT being a HERO.
 
Rape. God how that word echos pain through my veins. Having someone accuse you of raping them is no picnic, especially when you didn't... you seem sure that this guy did, and know alot more about the facts than I do. But all in all, there are only two people that know what happened that night.

Before you beat the living shit out of the guy, maybe you should confront him (in skimasks or whatever) and ask him for his side.

You seem pretty dead set on what you have planned... but having been there before... well, I don't know what else to say.

all i got was 3 alcohol awareness classes, nothing else. misdemeanor on my record, thats it. this guy had been stalking her for awhile and she was at a party and decide it was time to goto bed so she passed out in a bedroom. the guy came over there that night and knew she was passed out. she woke up and he was on top of her fucking her. the guy is definitly showing signs that he did this shit and i believe my friend. im not being no fucking hero, im sticking up for my best friend. even if i didnt know her and heard of some girl getting raped, id want to fuck them up too. if it were my sister, or better yet my daughter, id fucking kill them.

Your intentions are good Slacker... but the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Vigilantisim is great in theory, but speaking as a guide of the law... justice is not dealt at the hand of a two-by-four and a skimask... Your friend should quickly go to the hospital, get a rape-kit done on her... and press charges. The amount of damage it will do to this person will be far beyond any ass-whooping you or your friends could deal out.

So when you are sitting around in a box at your local County Lock-up brother, you will know why you are there, and won't have any excuses for it I guess. Because you "took the law into your own hands"...that's why you're there. I'm telling you, if more than a few people call the cops, they will do something about it! Tell them that you will take her/your story to the local news station of they don't want to help. Then everyone can know that all they care about is people speeding. They will get off their asses after that I assure you. Just don't do anything stupid man.

If she was raped she has certainly waited way too long to go to the police. The evidence is now gone. Semen etc. I don't understand the dumbness of people some times. It will be a hell of an uphill battle and a glorious he said, she said contest.

While I totally agree the sentiment of him staying out of it and that the hospital and police reports should have been made, Slackr didn't say she wanted him to beat this guy up.

Also - take this from a female, who's been in college, who jumped out a two story window to get away from two drunk horny guys - MOST women will not breathe a word about situations such as these.

Most rape - most reported rapes are where the attacker is a stranger to the victim (like in a park at night, walking home alone in the dark, etc.). The college and alcohol situations are rarely reported and even if they are it's done too late and after any evidence would remain. Showing is usually the first thing a victim will want to do and THE LAST thing one should do.

That said, do women lie about being raped - hell ya. But for the number that lie there are many more that hide the fact that they were raped at one time.


Oh and LIFE FUCKING LESSION - drinking is fun and all - but losing control of yourself and losing control of the your potential safety in your surroundings isn't a wise place to put yourself in.

Before you worry about revenge make sure that she see's a rape counselor. All your good intentions for your friend is admirable but she will need a professional to talk to about everything. At least encourage her to talk to one, they won't report it if she doesn't want them to.

Very good points, but......

We are taught that if we fear our life is in danger that we should just go along with the situation to preserve our lives.

For example, if a guy has a gun pointing to my head telling me to take my clothes off and spred my legs that is exactly what I am going to do. Unless the act is extremly brutal there may be some mild vaginal brusing and that is all.

Also, with all of the advances in DNA research I would think that most rapist were now wearing condoms.

No matter what.....I hope she gets some help from a rape counsuling center and that you report this to the authorities instead of taking matters into your own hands.

The semen wont be gone.......semen sticks around for alot longer than most people realise. If she hasnt washed her clothes yet thats another source of evidence. Bruises dont disappear in four hours either......

She should report it........and the guy who started this needs to start doing things right and get the law involved instead of wasting time telling the world what he is planning to do.

Just what every women wants....Her name in headlines on the front page of the local paper along with the word rape.
