Best exercises for strength

I'd like a comprehensive list of the best ones....

These would include things like cuban rotations, rotator cuffs exercises, anything that increases your strength.

You can also give frequently used exercises which are really useless for functional strength...

I'm not looking for exercises which create hypertrophy...

my list-

for strength:

standing over head shoulder presses.

deadlift..plus any pulls from the ground (including cleans, hang cleans and all different types of deadlift)

all compound movements (squats, bench, side presses)

as for rotator cuff exercises: cuban presses i feel are the best
 
Do dumbell raises have any value?

What about tricep extensions?

BTW, I don't suppose there's an alternative for the reverse hyper is there, if you workout at home?

For a reverse hyper...I take a 2x10 piece of wood and lay it over my power rack, place a towel over the middle...and there ya have it. I used to set the wood over the top of my 2 55 gallon drums...the rack works better.
