Took this from the GI scale for you:

Spaghetti, durum 78
Macaroni and Cheese 92
Gnocchi 95

Sweet potato 77

Nothing is wrong w/ pasta......

Spaghetti, white, boiled
White (Denmark) 33
White, durum wheat (Catelli Ltd, Montreal, Canada) 34
White (Australia) 38
White (Canada) 42

Alright....why does this shit have to be so frustrating??? Am i reading this wrong? I pulled this off of the Mendosa lists....

Ok....so it seems that any thing below 80 or so on the GI index is a wise choice.. right?

Not always, but for the most part YES......

Chick peas are the ultimate low GI starchy carb. Other beans and lentils follow close behind.
