"Officially" The Beatles is the right choice but I'll give my vote to Steely Dan.

No other band has had as many drummer greats on their albums as Dan. Well that has nothing to do how good the band is but I had to mention it.

Steely Dan drummers: Steve Gadd, Jeff Porcaro, Vinnie Colauita, Dennis Chambers, Jim Keltner, Rick Marotta, Bernard "Pretty" Purdie, Jim Hodder, Ed Greene, Jim Gordon, Peter Erskine, Ricky Lawson ja Hal Blaine.

My fav rock band of all time would have to be Metallica, even though I don't like alot of their newer stuff (especially the black album) or listen to them much anymore. They were my favorit band for many years growing up. I don't really listen to much older music than the 70's either.
