I go for the 2g per pound of bodyweight and whatever that comes out to be i try to get in 100 more grams of carbs... like if I need 450 g of protein i try to get 550g of carbs...
I don't really go into the whole "ratio's" thing when planning my diet... I just eat a lot, plenty of protein, plenty of carbs, plenty of cals and moderate fat....
My current diet is something like
5000 cals
460 protein
580 carbs
65 fat
