hey guys, good workout, nationals is near, can't get hurt, haha
bench press
close grip 185 5 reps(10 sec rest) 5 more
30 sec rest
mod grip 185 5 reps(10 sec rest) 5 more
30 sec
close grip 185 5 reps (10 sec rest) 5 more
singles close girp
225, 275, 295 all easy
2 board press
135x5
1 minute rest
225x5
1 minute rest
275x5
1 minute
225x5(felt slight pull in right pec again, i thought this was behind us, no more bench today)
push jerk 135x15, working on endurance, want at least 15 at nationals
155x10
lying exts
30 lb dumbells
3x15, 30 sec rest
shoulder/ab/lat/bi accesory work
# 1 gripper
15 reps right hand 13 or 14 with left hand
10 sec timed hold with each
then 100 pound dumbell shrugs for 25 reps and held them for awhile after, that was the grip workout
go ice this pec, maybe do some very light intensity agility drills
gotta be conditioned
i would like recommendations on what to do on this day next week, 8 days away from nationals, should i do any bench with chance of slightly pulling pec again???? i am open for ideas
