I had no clue or atleast never thought about it, that the way the doctor ties the imbilicale(sp?) cord determines wether you have an outtie or an innie.

I hear that outties are not around much cause they moved away from doing them. Do they ask the parents today when they have a baby how they want the imbilicale cord tied?

Just out of curiousity who has an outtie and who has an innie?

Outtie's look funny. If I knew someone with one I'd prolly make fun of them for being different.

for some reason when I was young I noticed that a lot of the black kids had outties. <--do not attempt to turn that into a racial statement or I will squash you( listening to kill switch right now, much anger)

i've never seen an outtie on an adult... kinda weird, i'm sure they're out there

NICE! glad i have an inny!

i saw something on Inside Edition about this recently. young girls with outies are running to plastic surgeons to have them turned into innies. they want to look like britney and show off their flat stomachs. AND GET A BELLY BUTTON PIERCING AND LOOK LIKE EVERY OTHER GIRL OUT THERE! (the ugliest fad of all time).

I have an innie. Outies just happen sometimes-- it's not from being a premature baby or how the dr cuts the cord.

As for young girls getting their belly buttons pierced, I really wanted to when I was 15 or 16 so I told my dad. He told me he'd pay for it and take me to get it done but only if I went right then. He knew I was a chicken. I ended up thinking about it until I was 20 and opted to do it then. It's just something I like for my own reasons. It's rarely visible anyhow.

oops! i thought i might get in trouble with the ladies when i posted about the belly rings. raina you are very lovely but the ring fad is tired. i especially hate the long ones that hang.

Ooooh....and that's the kind I have. But it's not the normal kind. It's actual jewelry-- hand made solid gold with a 2 karat yellow topaz in it that matches a ring I wear.

I go out in public with a visible tummy about 5 times a year if that. Like I said, it's something I wanted for myself. Like my tats...almost nobody sees them (even in a swim suit).

I can see it through ur webcam pic!?!?!

like martha stewart says

bell button piercing, a good thing

i used to see outies when i was a kid, but i never see anyone with that anymore? if i had an outie i would get it pierced and put a bone through it

Mine is out like Rosie O'Donell. My friends always push it when we are at the beach or jet skiing. I think it's cool because not everyone has them. My younger brother has an outtie too, but I think he's too fat to see it. My dad had an outtie when he was born but he had some kind of surgery when he was young and it is an innie now.

You are absolutely correct - but, then again, I would expect nothing less from a Princess/Mod
