beginner powerlifter

hi all, i am pretty much a beginner power lifter... i am looking for alot of relative strength. for example i want to get my vertical jump higher... any one have any beginner power lifting routines i could follow?

Well you need to do some reading, I would suggest going to elitefts.com, they have ton's of info and articles for any level or any athlete specific to strength training.

There's a lot of info out there, you can dig for a template, just don't be afraid to try things even if there not always correct.
 
these are all excellent articles. i second you going over to elitefts.com and reading EVERYTHING in the articles section.

thanks alot... i just have some questions... so if i am going to squat three times a week... how many sets would i start with in one session? would i just do 5x3 for each muscle group that i am working that day?
