The theory of evolutions main premise is that things continue to progress or advance in a forward motion or direction, but nothing is like that. The world itself is degenerating, plant life is less abundant and in comparison to the past much smaller, our atmosphere is degenerating, animals have not progressed in a forward direction and at best have remained on a stagnant plane. Humans.....well just look at todays society.
Outside of man-made technology, nothing is advancing there either.more good stuff to look at regarding this topic.

Evolution's answer to that is that the transition stages have died off leaving us with the fittest of each group stage and that we are in fact evolving all the time but as this happens over the course of millions of years we cannot observe it.StickFigure said:

Scientists were given an object to carbon date. The scientists were told it was found on an archeological dig. When actually the object was only a few years old and had been burried in the ground during that time.
The scientists "carbon dated" the object as being hundreds of thousands of years old.
Carbon dating is really a joke.

interesting theory on how humans may turn out. I can see that sort of thing happening, but I think the timeline is way off. I personally think it will occur MUCH MUCH MUCH faster than that, perhaps cybernetic humans within a 1000 years or even less. They'll probably come up with a way to make the body not reject technology other than by taking a pill or something.

Debating with these people is like teaching a pig to sing all you do is waste your time and annoy the pig. You can't argue with people who rely on blind faith to guide them instead of trying to see other points of view. As a Geologist/paleontologist I can't agree with you more from all the evidence I have seen/studied.

IMO Darwin’s theory of evolution is exactly that.....a theory, with little in the way of hard scientific evidence to back it up. The Origin of Species is an argument for evolution, that's all.
