Beer Can Chicken?

I bought a small chicken and want to cook it beer can style on the grill... How much beer should I leave in the can? 1/2? None? I've heard of it and want to try it but dont know the specifics... Anyone have any ideas? How long does it take to cook?

pour jack daniels or better yet everclear on the chicken while its cooking on the grill. make sure your grill is cranked up to max flame too

first off, the correct name is "Beer Butt Chciken"........i cook it on my weber on low heat, covered..........dont recall time. When its done I eat it.
