Been thinking about diet...

...Take Creatine with a sugar base...why??? better results. Pros use insulin...why??? better results from "forcing" nutrients in the cells.

My theory - next time you eat, eat a small dessert first to optimize insulin levels, then chow down protein and clean carbs...

Can I geta Hell Yeah??

I'm in some sort of insulin shock right now - I had over 150 carbs in one sitting according to fitday and now I'm all sleepy.

I call her Wida because whenever she say something about losing weight, she has food in her hand and I think to myself "Well...duh"...

Seriously - I think the logic is there...
 
I thought about that before - the downside being if you inject insulin, then there aren't the cals - but if you eat the carbs/sugars to get the insulin release, there are the associated calories that go with it - but likely negated since if you inject the insulin you need to take in sugars anyway.
am I talking?

Yes. But I'm not talking about taking slin - just the sugars to elicit an insulin response...what would be the window of opportunity??
 
How much sugar are you talking here anway? I really do avoid sweets as much as I talk about them. I eat very few.

I know that CellTechcrap uses 80 grams of dextrose and you could feel the rise in blood sugar(of course I would bottom out with a sugar reading of about 45 and have to drink a coke), so 80 grams would be plenty. 30-50 would probably be sufficient. Maybe drinking the creatine with a sugar carrier b-4 a meal is the way to go????
 
I have been wisely advised here at EF to add several large snicker bars to my protein shakes. I usually threw a few in the blender and then stir my shake with a full bar. If you want a shake that tastes amazing, try out the candy bar trick. Now I guess I understand why it's so healthy to do that.....
 
from what I know, if you take the stuff to kick in your insulin prior to working out, or later after working out - then you are more likely to store fat.
whereas if you do this in the 4-5 hours (sooner the better) after working out, then you are less likely to store fat and more likely to get the amino acid uptake maximized.

then again, I can barely spell, I bench for shit, and look like a 12 year old - so what do I know.

Correct. I was thinking only of doing this post workout/ just before evening meal...
