This time of year in Texas the Armadillos are on the road a lot too. They have it tough because of their poor vision. With eyes on the sides of their heads, they don't realize they are on the road until they feel the asphalt.

I believe I've hit one before. Possums are ugly as hell creatures.... I see at least 20 rabbits per day and many in my yard... Wish they would eat my grass.

Thats awesome, I use to see deer, rabbit, and a variety of creatures where I grew up in the country however in the city its a rare treat.

We spent the weekend in Possum Kingdom - BEAUTIFUL! Though we nearly got run over by a couple herd of deer and damn this wild turkey was just runnin up a storm. That bird was HYUGE!!!

I have never seen so many deer just jaunting through the hillside before. Was a nice treat. Thank goodness they didn't hit our bike. I am thinkin the deer would have had a nice treat makin Bikinimom and Old GrumpJerky.
