beef jerky?

I know it's really high in sodium but it's also high in protein and low in fat. I work in a gas station on the weekends, 10pm-6am and it's hard to get good nutrition cause I'm so busy all night. I have been grabbing bags of this stuff and munching on it all night. If I drink plenty of water is this ok or should I drop it? Also I was thinking that since it's almost deer season when I kill one this year I would cut a lot of it into small strips and try to make a low sodium jerky out of it? Anybody got any thoughts on or methods for a low-sodium jerky?

Unless you are cutting, some jerky should be fine. make sure you drink extra water, also limit your salt intake for the rest of the day. Doesn't the gas station sell protein bars?

not cutting right now. actually trying to put on some more mass over the winter. won't worry about cutting until late feb. next year. gas station is in small-town USA so def no protein bars. Gotta drive 20 miles to the closest GNC for fancy stuff like that around these parts. def gonna be a big buck this year ZK. I been scopin him out all summer. Got him locked come 1st day of season

thanks for that info bro. I used to order my stuff online but that was a couple years ago. seems like most of the cheap sites have changed. have def been thinking about getting my pop to let me use his credit card to order my shit cause GNC does indeed SUCK ASS!!! rip-off artists. sucks when your bitch wife takes you for everything in the divorce and you can't even get a credit card

Jerky is good. As stated above, unless you are cutting don't worry about the sodium. That is unless there are any issues with your blood pressure that would definitely be a reason to avoid sodium too. I'll be killing some deer in about 3 weeks.
