Hello everyone. I am looking at fine tuning my protein shake I have right before bed. I usually use a slow release protein and some fat free milk, and maybe a banana or something. I wonder though if any of you have a good "recipe" for this particularly timed shake? I don't want to add a lot of sugar and I'm afraid thats what the banana is doing. I also don't want to go to bed bloated or overfull so I think an oatmeal/chicken brest/protein shake is out.
SO, if you happen to think just slow release protein and skim milk is ok or if you think I should add something else in there that can help that would be great feedback. My goal with this shake is to help with muscle repair mostly as I am hitting the 5X5kinda hard now, and not really to bulk up. Thanks in advance.
