Nice body work on that '67 Mustang. I can't see any ripple along the flanks at all.

Yeah man it was a bitch to get them all out...

actually the one I had was a real piece of crap.... but it went fast as hell cause the motor was for real....

I will bring in some pics of it to post up tomorrow - it was nothing like the one in the pic....

I have a 67 as well. But I haven't driven it in 7 years. It's just collecting dust in the garage. No where near as nice as the one in the pic though, although no dents or major issues. Needs a paint job and some work to the floorboards and engine

I think almost all of em need that - I will bring in pics of mine tomorrow...

These are especially bad. I have some rust and bumper dinks, but nothing major. The frame is in surprisingly good condition. Its always needed a paint job. I dont want to keep the green, but I want to keep it as close to original as possible. I won't even replace the piece of shit radio because it is the original. I actually only bought it because it was the coolest car I could afford in college with only $2,500:)

Is yours a fastback? mine was.

There is no "frame" bro - it is a unibody... but I hear what you are saying, mine was pretty solid where it counted.... if you have the dark green, peeps love that if you ever go to sell it (68s of course much more so cause of bullet) when I was selling mine it was the first thing peeps would ask "is it ____ green?" mine was cheap as hell too... it was a decent 1/4 mile car with a boss302 type engine build and would lay smoke for a block or two.... it was fun as hell... I pretty much wore out the trans and rearend, but then I met my wife, wanted to get married and needed the cash, so I sold it....

wanted to totally redo it, but it wasn't in the cards.... I think if I ever get another one it will be either a 69 fastback, or maybe even a 89-93 and either way I am going about 400hp and tons of torque!

Yeah, it's basically a 1960 Falcon underneath, just like every Falcon, Fairlane, Mustang, Torino, and Maverick.

Bros - here are the pics I promised... it did not look like much (I had planned on a full resto) but it was a total sleeper and hilarious to smoke peeps asses when they rolled up next to me at the stoplight...

they became, like the car now, a faded memory in the rearview mirror...

it had a boss 302 engine build, 4 speed, decent gears, and was stripped down to nearly nothing inside.. I don't think really any soundproofing, no radio, no air, no soundproofing, only the back part of the backseat, not the bottom-it only really there to keep the spare from taking my head off (it wasn't the folddown either, a cheap, light repro)... hard racing shocks and springs... the thing cooked... it was light as hell - I could push the car with one hand walking next to it...

Sweet ride dude. Stangs are my favorite muscles cars. Do you let your wife drive it?

I don't have it any more... had to sell it for the cash when we got married...

Wife loved to ride in it tho... she was the first person telling me to smoke people who pulled up and wanted to race... LOL She used to scream as the car launched... LOL

She could not drive it dude... it was a good deal to handle, thing was always ready to go... plus you had to push hard as hell on the clutch and she said it made her leg feel like cramping up, LOL
