Reading and posting on the thread about shoulder pain made me think of this. Some may already know, but it's too potentially dangerous for me not to post it for those who don't. BE VERY CAREFUL about taking too much OTC pain killers!!! A few weeks ago, my shoulder was hurting so badly that I was taking like 20 tylenols/day. Next time I tried to do cardio, my lower back hurt like hell!!! I had to stop running after about 1/2 mile. Just a couple of days later, I read an article in People mag (my wife gets it, good throne reading) about this 18 year old chick who had a cold or flu and took alot of Tylenol for about a week and then got really sick, went to the hospital and went in a coma from LIVER FAILURE! That shit had destroyed over 90% of her liver and she had to have a fucking LIVER TRANSPLANT! According to the article, there are hundreds of cases like this every year, though most are less severe and not requiring a transplant. Anyway, I know that's what was going on with me when my back was hurting so bad, my liver was going through hell.
So, BE CAREFUL with the OTC pain killers! They are hard on the liver. Be especially careful if you're using 1,4 or oral AAS.
