BBing & everyday's life

Has your BBing way of living ever interfered with your daily activities ?

Does your eating habits prevent you from having a "regular social life" ?

Have you ever been warned that you're spending too much time in the gym (or in the kitchen, or on EF !) instead of seeing friends ?

Any troubles at work because you are sometimes really tired (after heavy squats days) or too big (you frighten away customers ;-) ) ?

I think that proper dieting can be putzy only because it takes planning. I just make a lot of food a couple of times a week and eat the same stuff over and over. Plus people are bound to ask questions and give you a hard time because they don't understand. I had a guy on new years eve (who was totally out of shape) tell me I was going to get fat for eating a lot of natural pb.

But training isn't too hard to work into a "normal" schedule. Last semester I had a hell of a time but this semester I planned everything to ease up my evening free time.

Yeah- but it's all about planning.

If you plan well enough you shouldn't have any serious problems... it helps to bring food everywhere you go.

It can stop you from going out and getting drunk and having a good time though... that's probably the type of activity it would most impact.

yes

anything involving alcohol is affected

picking something from a generic menu can be a mission too

it was a point of contention with my girl since she felt guilty eating normal food

I hear you on this one

When all the other people drink a couple of beers and you tell them you don't drink.....
neither easy nor enjoyable
:(

yeah it affects things in life. Mostly only with non-lifting people. I have a lot of BB friends so it's not such a big deal to go to a "BB freindly" house or whatever b/c we all need to eat and such.

It's mainly with the eating that affects my everyday life. Trying to fit in so many meals is difficult, especially when I don't really rely on shakes. The biggest problem is that I'm so use to eating, that when I miss a meal I become easily agitated.

yeah, eating is the biggest hassle. I hate eating so often. it seems right after I'm done, it's time to start preparing my next meal.

not drinking in college kinda sucks. so i finally decided to get wasted every now and then, just not very often. that's really the only thing that changes my every day life.

diet really isn't too bad, i like protein anyway, so i've always eaten meat and cheese and shit.

People at work think I'm crazy because I have protein every 3 hours, and even work out at lunch time....but they are the ones with the spare tires, and gut hanging over their belt =)

My only activities are lifting related and eating..So no interference. With 10 facial piercings I dont fit in to well. Going to lick myself now....
