Yes he knows his name, he is very affectionate, but territoral of his cage. I'm the only one who can put their hand in it without being bitten. He is noisy, but only 7 months old. All he can say so far is "pretty bird" but I am working on his vocabulary daily. He almost always has music or the television playing.
