Serial killer investigators descended on the home of a missing 26-year-old LSU doctoral student Wednesday, combing the scene with a police dog and taking her car as evidence.

Police insisted they're not treating the disappearance of Carrie Lynn Yoder as a homicide. Her boyfriend, who last spoke to Yoder Monday evening, reported her missing about 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Yoder told her boyfriend on the phone Monday that she was going to the grocery store, according to her friend, Guerry Holm.
The groceries were found in Yoder's home, still in their bags, and the back door was left open, police said
Police have said DNA shows the same man killed Gina Wilson Green, 41, in September 2001; Charlotte Murray Pace, 22, in May 2002; Pam Kinamore, 44, in July 2002; and Trineisha DenŽ Colomb, 23, in November 2002.
