Baseballs MOST MEMORABLE Moment

Fucking number 1 was Cal Ripken beating Lou Gehrigs consecutive games played streak. You gotta be shittin me! The most memorable moment in all of baseballs history is a guy who showed up to work everyday?? I should get a fucking award too then. I would've went with Aaron #715. The Home Run record is the most prestigious imo.

I told my wife before it started that Ripkens streak was the moment that really stood out in my mind.
I could'nt believe the Fred Lynn home run from the 75 World Series was not on the list. It was great to see Pete Rose on the field again.

The 1975 World Series? Don't you mean Carlton Fisk? If so, then that wasn't exactly some great moment. Only in a Bostonians mind is that considered a great moment, considering that they lost the next game, and the Series in 7 games. They also make a big deal out of Bill Buckner missing that Mookie Wilson grounder in 1986. They act like he was the entire reason they lost the whole WS, but they still had the chance to win it at the next game(game 7), and blew it. Incidentally, Buckner batted 3/5 in that game.

I don't hate them bro. I just think that their thinking is a bit warped is all. Like I said, and you iobviously know, they lost the Series the next game to "The big red machine" now didn't they?! Now if you would like to talk about real World Series dramatic Home Runs, then I give you 1960 Bill Mazeroski in the bottom of the 9th, in the 7th and final game, against the heavily favored Yankees, with the Pirates down two runs, to WIN the SERIES my brother! Now that's drama! Another would be Kirk Gibson in '88 as well. He had a pulled Hammy, and was only batting because Lasorda had used the entire lineup as subs before that. The dude could barely stand, and was batting against Dennis Eckersly, who was the premier relief pitcher in all of Baseball at the time. Gibson took the count to 3-2, and in the bottom on the 9th, with the Dodgetrs down 4-3, hit a two run shot to win that game. The Dodgers went on to sweep that Series. Now you tell me the difference between Fisk, and the examples that I gave you bro. No offense.

Joe Carter's home run to actually WIN! the world series is a greater moment then Fisk's home run.

Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier and taking all that grief is another good one..

and even the Maris Home Run chase was a great memory. Have you guys ever seen 61? Great Movie!

Bro, I still think the best home run was Joe Carter hitting a walk-off series winner for the Blue Jays. That's every baseball players dream, and he accomplished it!!! That would get my vote over anything!!! No offense...hahaha
