Baseball help needed

I keep hitting most of the pitches down on the handle instead of the barrel. My teammates have told me that I'm not over crowding the plate. Does anyone have an idea of what causes this?

I am thinking of a couple of things, but without being able to actually analyze your swing- I cannot be sure.
