Barry Vs. Willard Debate

i lasted one sentence....as soon as obama started talking about being the luckiest guy in the world cause he married whats her face 20 years ago i changed the channel. That was seriously the first words of the debate and I had already had enough so i have no idea how it went nor do i give shit.

Barry does that, touchy feely stuff and emotional appeals. Mitt kinda pwned him on technocratic shit.

Yeah, he mentioned numbers and data that refuted Barry's assertion that only the wealthy would benefit from tax reform.

so he gave specific loopholes in the tax code he would shut down? cause that's the crux of the issue....if he didn't talk about closing loopholes than any numbers he gave were smoke and mirrors. Without closing those loopholes down then yes, only the "very" wealthy would benefit from his tax reform ideas.

I was disappointed that he didn't mention the Reagan recovery and gdp growth based on eliminating all deductions but the housing interest deduction while dropping the top tax rates for everyone, including the 70% rate; He (Willard) claimed his plan was original, it's a pseudo Reagan plan to reform taxes and just like Reagan he tried to pander to me when I know he is full of shit.
"Regulation is necessary for a free market." That's contradictory, regulation is necessary by those in the market but assuming bureaucrats can regulate anything is ridiculous, Bernie had the whistle blown on him six times and the SEC claimed he was a solid Bro after every investigation.

Suckers will always fall for ponzi schemes and the regulators will always be captured by the criminals.

Both of them mentioned shit and referenced shit. Neither of those actually makes the shit true though. The "facts" sound great as long as you accept them as fact.

It was the guy's 20th wedding anniversary same day, maybe he gets a break?

Both said what they want to said, avoiding one the public spending, avoiding the other one his past in industries which felt in bakrupt and had to be "rescued" through public spending... so, in the "emotional" field (I'm a Christian, and you're not; I'm a better American than you're), I think Obama won... so, as expected, I think Obama will be reelected (I'm not saying if this is good or bad).

You should get divorced so we can continue to not have sex but at least I won't feel guilty thinking about it.

Indeed, I can create a formula where the government can spend twice as much on everything and my calculator will give me an outcome that reduces the deficit while doubling military and social welfare spending; That calculator is the CBO used by both parties to pretend scarce resources aren't scarce.

One of my favorite scenes from "The Hunt for Red October."
