Bar Flex

Just curious, but at what lbs do you guys notice the bar start to bend - visually.

When I DL, I can start to feel the flex at around 400 as I start the pull.

I think I can see it around 600 when I watch others.

I'm talking about good bars like Texas or Q bars (28 mm), not Dick's Sporting Goods stuff.

I train with a texas power bar and that thing barely flexes, i have to put like 6-7plates to get it to bow a little, but it has nice whip to it.
 
I travel alot and train in all kinds of gyms. Most of them only have 500 lb rated bars and it real sucks when squatting over 400 they start to whip but today I trained in a gym that has 1000lb rated bar it was heaven. I felt so safe. Most places don't even have a clue that there is a difference in bars.
 
when i put 500 on for squat it flex quite a bit, specially when hitting the top of squat. not sure brand but our entire gym is all new, nice equipment and the squat bars a quite a bit thicker then the bench ones
