Anyone ever get into a fight at a bar/club?

My roomate got into one last night....came home with bruised knuckles and a huge attitude. I guess he punched some guy and then got dragged away before the dude could kill him.

Why the hell does this happen all the time? I mean, I go to bars to hang with my friends, dring a few beers, hit on girls, and have a good time. What the hell is the point of getting your nose smashed in every weekend? My roomate is a great example...he has this hyper-macho attitude and always runs his mouth. He absolutely won't back down, and has always manages to get into trouble.

If some guys steps on your foot, or hits on your girl....let that shit slide for god's sake. Quit ruining the night for the rest of us.

Yes, but after being knifed a few times I decided to just drink
beer and enjoy the show! I guess that's what I get for bringing fists to a knife fight!

I hang out at good bars, alhtough my rommie frequents some sleazier ones. I really do think that he needs to have his ass handed to him at least once. It might smarten him up.

I've had guys try to start trouble before, but I've managed to talk my out of it. The only time I've hit someone was after he whipped a beer bottle at my head. I get drunk at bars and I _never_ start shit. What's the point of that? I'd rather chat up a girl then get into a fight.
