A few years back wrasslin great Bam Bam Bigalow thought it was a good idea to fight an MMA/UFC style fight with Kimo. If you remember the early days of UFC, Kimo put the hurt on Royce Gracie (even though he lost) This goes to show that wrasslin isnt real fighting

i'm not sure...i don't think shamrock ever won the tourny...he had a few superfight wins(zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) but no tourny wins

I'd like to see Kimo tango with Angle or Lesnar. I bet you either of those two would fair well in the Octagon, after a little training in some striking.

You're right. That was when the alternate, Steve Jennum, filled in for Shamrock and ended up winning the fight and the UFC III championship.

Kimo may be a little to old to hang with those two...his skills were never that great anyways...brock and angle would be good in the octogon...but the money is in the prowrestling...maybe the japanese and pridefc could motivate them to fight...i would prefer to see it against someone like rodrigo nogeira, vanderlei silva or igor vovchencyin

Does Kimo even still fight in any of MMA/UFC events? I used to watch UFC all the time untill my cable provider stopped airing them some years ago. I haven't seen one since Vitor Belfort first came on the scene.

nah...he is pushing forty...and from what i heard he has had some legal issues and chemical dependency problems...he couldnt compete with todays talent...game has evolved too much...
btw....vitor just lost a fight to Chuck Liddell a few weeks back

Kimo just recently won a fight against Tim Lajick in a show (I think it was in California). By most accounts, Kimo was getting his ass handed to him, and then Lajick broke his big toe in a scramble. Supposedly it was facing an entirely different direction.

Liddell beat Belfort via decision, if I remember correctly.

I'd love to see Kimo take on Triple H or Scott Steiner. He'd get his head handed to him on a platter.

I doubt that would happen. Steiner and Triple H are professional wrestlers. Kimo was a real fighter. As limited as his skills were, I doubt he would have much problem with either one of those.

Both Steiner brothers were widely regarded as legitimate bad-asses, with "real" wrestling skills. I think Kimo would have plenty of problem.
