I'm flying out Monday morning from Atlanta for the Bahamas. Anyone been there before? Any definite things to hit while I'm there? And more importantly, anyone wanna go with me?

That's a good question. I know no real details. lol. Grand Bahama Island? Freeport? Both of those sound familiar to me right now.

I went to Freeport last year for Spring Break.

Too bad you're a year late or else you could have some Alien Cream Pie whilst down there.

Freeport is the best inline skating/cycling island in the world. Hundreds of miles of clean, smooth roads without a single building on them: they expected a population explosion that never came. I like Mayaguana and Eleuthera. Got lost and had to camp out overnight on Andros, pretty cool and pretty scary. If you have a date go to Cat, romance furnace...

I just came back in the middle of January. I went to Freeport but heard that`s not where you want to go. Since it was January we were the only ones at the pool and just a few people at the beach. That did`nt stop us from having a great time.

Have fun. The restaurants are GREAT We loved the food. Sorry I`m bad at remembering names(of the restaurants) .lol

Going now should be a lot better though. We went at the wrong time I guess.

Freeport and Nassau are big and touristy, which can be EXACTLY what the doctor ordered if thats your thing... I dive and sail, and prefer the Out Islands, but if I was going with SWMBO and the kids, I would shoot farther south and go for Nevis.

I hooked up with one of the finest chicks ever from Univ. of Georgia last year. It was Spring Break though, so everybody was drinking and obviously drinking a lot if she slept with me.

First off, you wish. Secondly, although I have slept with one of them before, we really just slept, and I don't picture anything else happening no matter how drunk we get. And the other guy is his brother, so he's in that same category.

Nassau is very touristy ( a fairly dangerous if you ask me). Listen to Chefwide..all good recommendations.

I would like to see the Atlantis resort. Just see it. I think they built it on Paradise Island.

I went there last year it was fun.

I'm going to jamaica this year... i hear there and cancun are supposed to be the hotspots.

I`ve been to the Atlantis on Paradise Island. Great place. Lost some money at the casino, also in Freeport casino. lol Im good at that.
