Bad News for Bengals

ass_face said:
Dude... all you Bunghole fans are the same. The hit was not dirty. Kimo was falling and was not even looking towards Palmer. Odell Thurman dove grabbed and twisted... THAT was dirty.

BTW, Bungholes will be 7-9 next year at best. Rosy Palmer won't be back until midseason... and they will play a first place schedule, while Pittsburgh gets a nice rest next season and gets to play a second place schedule. Enjoy your one year.

7-9...LMAO!

I'm not going to argue about next season already. Marvin has had 3 fantastic drafts already and will have another this offseason. Offensively we will have no problem putting up points. Defensively, we will have to sure up some things. You can bet Marvin will improve the defense by next season. Thurman and Pollack will be improved, and Madieu Williams will be back. That hurt us badly not having Madieu for most of the year. Ohalete was horrible and Kasviharn is not an every down safety. It will be interesting, but I feel we will be 10-6 or 11-5 again.

was it made in Korea?

Was that bad taste?

I dunno. :)

I actually picked up a business card because I thought it was funny, but can't find it. I bet we see the booth again this year at the Arnold.

Are you going to pick up a T-shirt? ;)

Well, I was giving them a little credit on those... but it might be 7-9 or 6-10 for the Bungholes.

Get off it already assface. jeez..... The whole bunghole thing is getting old. You have some kind of asshole fetish with all the references, avatar, etc.? I'm thinking you like the old O-Ring.

Possible, but the Bengals have to learn that one season does not make you a powerhouse. The crap they spewed about how they were the North Division heavies was laughable. They won a 4 turnover squeaker in Pittsburgh and got murdered twice at home. The Steelers own them and they know it.

Either way, I think it is great that they are a better team. The Steelers need some fire under their ass in their own division.

You can bet Marvin won't let this season go to their heads. Marvin will build on this season as he has done every season so far. The Bengals are just a few players defensively away from being where they want to be. Like I said, with Madieu coming back next season, that will help us greatly. We will just have to be more consistent.

I like Marvin... he is like a Bill Cowher, but he isn't afraid to let his QB throw the ball.... although I felt he gave up on the run too early yesterday. If The Bengals ever get a pass rush and runstoppers, they will be tough to beat. I still see a rough road for them next year. I was sorry to see Carson go down. I wanted both teams to be at full strength.

I agree. Bratkowski has drove me nuts all year. He is too pass happy. Rudi would have easily been between 1500-1600 yards if he would have evened out his playcalling a bit. It is amazing to me how we were not able to get to the QB more this year. We had a horrible pass rush. I think Pollack can be a 12-15 a year sack guy. I have no idea why Justin Smith can't get to the QB more. That makes me crazy. It will be interesting to see if we keep Nate Webster. In think we have the talent to stop the run, but our LB's need to be more consistent. They overpursue way too much. A little patience will go along way.

I hope the Steelers go up to Indy and beat them. They need to control the clock and keep the ball out of Peytons hands.

pitt won't have bettis next year either

Not true... I see him coming back. If they don't reach the Superbowl (which I doubt they will barring a miracle), he will be back. I have watched every game and honestly, Bettis is not a huge part of their offense. Parker carries the load when the game matters, and Bettis comes in when they have a lead to pound the defense. Verron Haynes is a big back who only gets in on 3rd downs and he can do Bettis' job.

need to pound it in the end zone from within 10
he's unstoppable
bengals were bouncing off of him
that's a very good ingredient to have
makes the whole red zone easier for pitt
the threat of him alone make's all your other options easier to execute

I read an interview with him recently
despite his heft he's getting beat up
wasn't he wearing a flack jacket sunday?
though I thought that might have been done for pyschological reasons as it added to his size
kind of like a threatened bird fluffing it's feathers as a ruse
