Bad news Bros!

Well, I believe I have torn some cartlidge in my right knee. It started about a month and a half ago. I was just geeting back into lifting again after a couple months off and it was leg day. Well, I warm up as I always do stretch, 6 minutes on the bike and some more streching. I warmed up with 135 and had no problems. Then I moved up to 185 and as soonas I went down I felt this really bad burning pain in my right knee. I couldn't do anything on legs the rest of the day. I took a week off from legs and tried to do them again last week I had some pain, but I toughed it out. I went out and bought a knee brace and hoped that would help. I tried legs again today an d the same thing as before. A real sharp burning pain in my knee. This really suck b/c I am on a cycle and I am not going to scrap it. I believe it is a cartlidge tear b/c I have no instability in my knee and it only hurts when I do squats or leg presses or things like that. I have no problems walking, doing dead lifts or anything like that. I even rode the bike for 7 miles today with no problems. This sucks. Well, I just though I would give you guys an update of where I am in my cycle. This is going to hinder my gains in my lower body and I really hate that. Anyone, have any suggestion on what might be wrong or what might be done if it is a cartlidge tear? Sorry so long guys.

First of all, you should have kept us informed of your torn cartiliage WHEN IT FIRST STARTED, NOT AFTER THE FUCKING FACT!!!!!! :mad:

If you want help from the bros, you gotta be true and that means explaining the full situation, if so, you might have avoided fucking up the cartiliage worse..... :rolleyes:

It's clearly a cartiliage issue and you're probably going to have to have surgery. Have your PCP give you a referral to an Ortho and they'll hash out the shit, let you know the severity of the injury and your options. I see surgery as your most likely option.

ahh that sucks dude. you have no signs of inflammation or swelling?
hope you don't end up on the table! take her easy even with your cardio cause if it is torn your not helping it any.
 
No that's what is weird. I have no swelling or anything like that and DIV I had no idea at first I had a cartlidge problem. I have never had any problems with my knees before other than a torn ACL in my left knee a long time ago, but I have no problems out if it. My bad man. I was hoping it wasn't something that serious seeing as to how I had no pain unless I had weight on my shoulders. I at first assumed it my have been a ligament problem, but I ruled that out with a brace. I was just wishful hoping, I didn't want to not work my legs. Sorry DIV I'll make sure I post as soon as I have a problem next time. I'll keep you guys posted when I find something out. Thanks DIV I knew I would hear from you.
 
do what division said. i done the same dumbass thing with tore acl[keep lifting] took surgery and lots of rehab b4 i could even start lifting light weight. 2yrs later i'm back to working out with heavy weights again
