Backpain for 1 year, might try equipoise

man it feels better to know bros are going thru the same thing. i feel you man for real. i have the vicodins callin my name, but they are not a means. alot of it is toughing it out now and deciding what pain is really that acute that you need meds and pain that can be dealt with. its rough and i agree it doesn't go away. i am mid twenties a ways from 30 and am told it will always hurt me in the morning and if i do too much weight in the gym

Wow, lots of different opinions. I guess im not the only one with back-problems. The MRI i took showed that i have a very slight diskdegeneration at L10, L11. However it was so small that it shouldn't be the cause of the pain, in my doctors point of view. Except for that the rest of my spine looked fine with disks and all.
My physio therapist offered me a cortisone injection before i did the MRI, because he was convinced that i had was somehow caused by a damaged disk. But after i got the results he said it would probably do more damage then good to get the shot, since cortisone breaks down muscles or something like that.
So basicly what people are saying now is that the pain must be caused from something else then the disks.
I have noticed that if i regularly work out my lower back, like every 2-3 days the pain isnt as intense, but if i dont train it for 4-5 days it gets worse. I recently started doing deadlifts again, with low wheights though and i dont know if its my imagination but i think it feels a little bit beter.. but its far from gone though.
So for now i will just continue to try and build my back stronger and when i stop gaining wheight i think i will go for the equipoise anyway. I've seen the results on a friend of mine, and i like what i see.

Anyway, thanks everyone for all the feedback, much appreciated!
Keep on fighting everyone with the fucked up backs out there!

you must have meant to say T10 and T11 as your lumbar vertebrae only go to L5. There really isn't anything else that can be done from a diagnostic point of view. If there was a disk problem, the MRI should have shown it. When you had your MRI done, did they inject contrast? If not, they may need to perform another MRI with the contrast injection and do a study called a myelogram which profiles the entire spinal cord. Also, when you had the MRI, did they put a pad under your knees?

Are you feeling any numbness in your extremities? In which position does the pain hurt the worst ie: laying on your stomach, standing, sitting, etc. Any other pains in other areas of your body such as head, neck, hips, wtc? Has any of the doc's mentioned a possibility of fibromyalgia?

Test and deca for a first cycle, brace your back,

build the muscles in the lower, middle then upper back

how tall is 184cm, sounds short

i agree get an MRI. chronic pain patterns can take time to disrupt. depending on the nature of the problem obviously. what were your treatment plan protocols and timeframes as prescribed for your PT or chiropractic treatments? most people give up, they quit if they do not experience quick relief, then they bad-mouth the chiropractor or PT for not getting the job done. if the chronic pain pattern is well established these things just take time. but first get the diagnosis right, depending on other physicaly exam findings, at this point that likely means getting an MRI. a chiropractor can order an MRI, a PT cannot. however your insurance may only pay for the MRI if it is ordered by your MD.
