Backpain for 1 year, might try equipoise

Re: Backpain, might try equipoise, worth a try???

So in lack of other options im considering doing a 12 week 400mg/week equipoise only cycle. I have been trying to learn as much as possible the last couple of weeks but i would like to hear what you guys have to say about it...
Do you think it is worth a shot, could it relieve me from the pain?

do I think equipoise will help?not in the slightest especially @ only 400mgs for 12 weeks

I would think you would be more prone to try deca durabolin because of it's joint supposed joint lubricating claimed results by many people.

truth be told I don't think you should do any gear at all, with an injured back.if something does make the pain go away or mask it,it's only going to enable you to damage your back that much more.see a back specialist and a pain specialist, but whatever you do don't start lifting again while taking pain killers!

Just went through the same shit! Several times over past 6 years BUT I just found the magic fix several month ago...
IF your MRI shows no serious problems(I had a small bulge on L4) then find a doctor that does Trigger Point Injections then do Cortisone injections. This will cut the signal off at the nerve for pain!!! This is the cats ass if you want to stop the pain and muscle spazum. This will let the problem site relax and repair. I tried everything but a Witch Doctor to stop the pain and this works!
WARNING: If you do this you must understand that you are shutting off the nerve that sends the pain signal so if there is a problem and you cant feel that you are hurting the area you could do more damage. Also you may want to find a ciropractor that has an anti compression table. This thing hold you down at the chest then pulls on your legs and hips. Doing the Cortisone injections, ciropractic adjustment, and anti compresson table will take preassure off the problem nerves and let the problems repair. Dugs(Anti-inflamatorys) dont work on most people FACT, so pumping that shit IMO is just a waste of time and money. I swear on my life the above method worked for me after trying dozens of different things. Good luck bro!

Oh yea one more thing... I make it a habbit to hang by my hands on the squat rack after every workout to take the preassure off the disks in the back and pull my spine straight. Its hard to do when your ass is kicked but well worth the effort. Kind of like getting your car an alignment after your girlfriend slams into a parking curb.

Sometimes people have pain and sometimes people don't. Some with disc herniations feel no pain and others are completely incapacitated. Even surgery many times does not relieve pain.

I would keep searching for a doctor that will listen and can help pinpoint the pain. Sometimes the pain continues because of the mind-body connection and it is possible that some of your pain can be helped through anti-depressants or medicines that release dopamine.

I'm not saying you are a mental patient or anything like that. But in cases of pain, don't be too proud to rule out anything that may bring relief. Sometimes just temporarily taking certain medications can help.

mmmm dopamine...cocaine anyone? hehe

I will tell you what worked for me, but I cannot single out the one particular thing that did the job as I believe it was a combination of all. Long story short, had microscopic-diskeptomy (cut the bulge off the L5-S1 disk that was pressing into sciatic nerve, left leg) in 1996. Doc said while he was in there cutting away that I'd need another surgery in a few years since I had degenerative disk disease on L5-S1, L4, L3 and L2. That surgery fixed the hellacious, and I repeat HELLACIOUS leg pain. Everything fine after surgery but I got hooked on pain pills for nine years after, yes nine years. Throughout these 9yrs my back pain got worse and worse. MRI, Myleogram and everthing else showed bad disks and fusion was talked about. Anyway, in May 2005 divorce hit me cause of pain pill addiciton. Hit rock bottom, started on Wellbutrin ( Antidepressant Dopamine/Norepinepherine rebuilder, for the years of pain pill addiction) from doctor and started back in gym after 12yrs of not lifting in July of 2005. Focused on core excercises, abs, obliques, lower back and of course did one body part a day for muscle training, and 20mins cardio a day. All this 5 days a week. Started 200mgs test prop and 200mgs EQ a week in Sept of 2005 and haven't come off yet. Yes, almost 2 yrs of "on" juice. Absolutly NO pain whatsoever, nor sexual dysfunction or anything else. I am 5'11", 200lbs, 6%bf and a rippin six pack, but I have also been eating super clean for almost 2 yrs and cheated on diet about 2 times in those 2 yrs.. When I started 2 yrs ago on all of this, I was 265lbs, totally outta shape, like 23%bf. I am still on Wellbutrin and juice. I am real curious as to what an MRI would show now. Like I said, I don't know if it was everything or one single thing but whatever it is/was, it worked, for me.

I understand your logic but...
anti-depressants are poison. END OF STORY.
They make coporations billions.
There has not been one study to date that can prove they pass the blood brain barrier. The proven fact of the danger of these drugs are that they rewire your brain. Rewire your brain= you think different= you act different= you become a different person. Friend PHD in BioChem and commonly atteneds seminars that refer to anti-depressants as the AntiChrist drug from hell. Crazy Pills IMO :mix:

I've struggled with back pain for years. EQ would not be my first choice here.

Anavar, primobolan, halo, maybe some test.

I know this sounds mega stupid, and everyone is different, but deadlifts always helped my back the most.

You mileage may vary as they say - so go with what works best for you.

i'd say this thread proves all people react different and things work different for everyone. try it is the only way, you can't really hurt yourself if you don't strain. i still think its a waste but try it. i'd choose anavar deca and test though for building tendons, lubing the joints, and a little test can always help boost your everything imo

I should probably add that i have no previous experience using steroids.
Hate to say it,but I learned once you fuck your back up its never going to be the same, especially if your older than 30,I tweaked my back about 4 years ago, worst pain of my life, almost couldnt walk for days, wasnt "normal" for almost 6 months afterwords.I kept training (lightly)throughout, gradually increasing my weights.Had a couple set backs in that time, but can get back up to deads and squats at 315lbs +,which is about how hard I will push it now.On a 1-10 scale(10 the highest),daily pain is about 1-3,figured it is there to stay.I would suggest working abs to strengthen back, this helps my recovery.I have cycled once since I had injury,I made nice gains and will do it again, just have to "excercise smart",and realize you have limitations now.Good luck.

Wow, lots of different opinions. I guess im not the only one with back-problems. The MRI i took showed that i have a very slight diskdegeneration at L10, L11. However it was so small that it shouldn't be the cause of the pain, in my doctors point of view. Except for that the rest of my spine looked fine with disks and all.
My physio therapist offered me a cortisone injection before i did the MRI, because he was convinced that i had was somehow caused by a damaged disk. But after i got the results he said it would probably do more damage then good to get the shot, since cortisone breaks down muscles or something like that.
So basicly what people are saying now is that the pain must be caused from something else then the disks.
I have noticed that if i regularly work out my lower back, like every 2-3 days the pain isnt as intense, but if i dont train it for 4-5 days it gets worse. I recently started doing deadlifts again, with low wheights though and i dont know if its my imagination but i think it feels a little bit beter.. but its far from gone though.
So for now i will just continue to try and build my back stronger and when i stop gaining wheight i think i will go for the equipoise anyway. I've seen the results on a friend of mine, and i like what i see.

Anyway, thanks everyone for all the feedback, much appreciated!
Keep on fighting everyone with the fucked up backs out there!
