I tend to post a lot of advice on here so I thought I'd post a pic to back up what I have to say. I don't have any pics of me lifting mountains like b-fold, but this will have to do.
 
Looking good, man. Very similar build to mine (except your chest kills mine for fullness in the middle, and DAMN, nice teardrop)

Good to see somebody who obviously practices what he preaches. :fro:
 
Thanks Belial, the best part is that I've only done one cycle, just finished sust 500mg/week 1-8, and 30mg dbol, so I'm still holding water in the abs.
I made decent gains off a very mild cycle, the next few won't be quite so mild!!

It can be done naturally if you're willing to put in the time. I was actually bigger than this naturally, but wedding/honeymoon recently made consistency difficult, but the point is I did get to this point without drugs. I really do think too many guys pussy out and jump on the drug bandwagon before putting in their time in the gym first
Now that I've found my natural genetic limit, it's time to find out how far I can get the other way.

Hey guys, thanks for all the kind words, I've been feelin pretty skinny lately, you know the mind of the body builder, so I appreciate them all.

I'm 27, have trained naturally for over 10 years, but hit a size bigger than this (221lbs) when I was in my early 20's and still natural. I went from a pretty shredded 180 this summer to 208lbs on this cycle, holding, so far, at 205lbs. I felt I was ready a few years ago to try gear but couldn't find any. Now I have access, my wife is cool with it, and after my one cycle I know I respond well. I have big plans for my christmas cycle......
I am thinking that I want to try to mass up for another year or two, then try a small area competition to see what I can do.

My guess is it will be the new club, at Park I'm a big fish in a small sea, I think being the small fish will be much better for my development.
I want to bulk up for a year or two then try my hand at the Brantfords, see what happens. My next few cycles will be pretty heavy!

I tend not to judge the quality of someone's advice by how they look, though. It's a fairly poor indicator in my opinion. I've met people who are incredibly more knowledgable than myself, yet maybe aren't so big, and some people with amazing physiques who have no idea what they're talking about. I always think of Arthur Jones old spiel, which goes something like:
"Find the biggest guy in your gym. Follow him around, taking copious notes on everything he says and does. Then do the exact opposite." Genetics will trump knowledge every time.
 
i plan to compete within a few years myself so im gonna hit up a few cycles get to about 215 ripped then try my hand in a comp

i showed my mom ur pic she damn near shit lol

Blood&Iron, I agree with your point, often the big guys don't know shit because they have it so easy with great genetics. However, that's not me, I was around 150lbs when I started training and had to kill myself for every ounce of muscle I ever gained, and it took a lot of years. So when I post advice, it's based on the years of trial and errors of my own experiences. I could write a book on what didn't work for me!!

Jvesti- glad the program is helping, it's the core of my mass building routine, nothing works better for my body.

I'm not sure what my bodyfat is in the pics, it was around 8-9% when I started the cycle.
 
I'm definatley going to look out for your posts, you're a real inspiration. From what I've read so far, it looks like we've come from the same 150# twigula gene pool. Thanks dude.

you trained hard to get where you're at. keep it up and the show in 2003 is all yours, except if i enter, then you're fucked!!!!:D

Thanks, gettig married was one of the best things I've ever done. The best part is, that after years of watching me struggle natually for minimal gains, she is totally cool with gear now, as long as I use good judgement.

couldnt agree with you more on the bandwagon part. **cough** **cough**(Canadian Oak). Anyway you look great outstanding chest development. Plus gives me the incentive to have my pic taken soon. Didnt know we could still post pics on here without platinum membership. We actually look similiar accept I think I got ya a little on shoulders and your chest is definitely fuller than mine. Outstanding pic and posts bro.
 
Abbaddon, that was so funny I just about swallowed my tongue! You definitely should put your pic up, it's good to have a visual to go with the handle, that's why I did it. I'm proud of what I did without drugs and the hard years it took to get there. But now and only now that I know that I can't progress any further, it's time for drugs.

I know because my size peaked a few years ago, not only could I not get any bigger, any time I lost any size it really difficult to get it back. I tried every supplement on the market and every training system I knew of, nothing worked.

I have one question. If you responded so well from a mild cycle, why not just stick with maximum gain w/min drug? I am a girl and I know that A/S is much diff w/men so I am curious. With women min drug for max gain is rule of thumb (or at least SHOULD BE LOL!) ...Just to let you know my frame of reference. :)

the only thing I would priototize is calves.

for your next cycle, try just doing the same dose, or upping it by 100 to 200 mgs

bikini, the reason for the heavier cycle is that I want to try competing locally in the next year or two and want to agin as much mass as I can. I know I should increase slowly, but I'm also only going from 500 - 800mg of test per week plus deca/dbol. The cycle after next I'm planning on running the same amount of test again but with fina instead of deca.

Omega - thanks, I do prioritize calves but they are goddamn stubborn. This is my favorite chest routine
flat bench 5 sets 5 reps
incline dumbell press 2-3 sets 8-10 reps
incline dumbell flyes 2 sets 8-10 reps with a drop set afterwards

I trained for 10 years before I ever did a cycle and have still only done one, and was a hell of a lot bigger than your scrawny ass before I did it!!

6ft6, maybe you don't read so good, I'm not a jacked up juice head, I've done one cycle and it was as mild as they get. I was an advanced trainer, 10 year veteran before I did it, but as you admitted, you're a newbie that doesn't know shit. I've seen you pics and most of the guys on this board are far more advanced than you but you don't see them trying to through it in everyones face. Height doesn't mean a thing either, I was a tiny framed twerp when I started training but you don't see me using that as an excuse when guys look better or bigger.

It's nice to see the internet is the same as real life sometimes, the guy with the biggest mouth usually has the least to back it up!!

TheGame, you look awesome, I hope I look like that in my forties, I'd never have guessed your age though.
I understand the back thing, I hurt my back 2 years ago, couldn't squat or deadlift for a year and got skinny all over, it sucked in a big way.
This pic was taken after only one cycle, I hope to get a lot bigger with the next few that I have planned.

You have the foundation to do well in the sport. Keep at it.
I can still deadlift and in last year have resumed squatting ass to the grass again finally. legs are coming back up slowly. This will probably be my last year to compete most likely. Just married again this year and well its time to enjoy family life but i'll always workout just will not make it my everything anymore. But one more round on the stages this summer and then hang up the trunks........
 
TheGame, I understand where you're coming from. I'm only 27, just got married and am thinking about adding kids to the mix. But I have decided, and so far my wife is in support, of me doing a few heavy mass cycles first and seeing how the competition thing goes, before I commit to kids. I just wish I had of discovered anabolics earlier.
