Does anyone lay-off of deadlifts for a few weeks while incorporating another movement into their routine? I'm thinking str8 bar rows may yield better results for overall back and trap size than deads. I usually do Deads,T-bars, dbell rows...and then hit the lats with some lat pulls....dbell pullovers and finish off with hypers.....any thoughts?

It's a good thing to lay off Deads from time to time. It will give your back a break, and when you resume deadlifting you'll do it with greater enthusiasm.
Changing up is always good.
Bent over rows are a good alternative.

Deadlifting fries my CNS. I rotate dead movements with GM's and box squats.
