Back THICKNESS

Ok.

New One.

My problem is my chest overshadows my back. I have a decent taper, but I dont have much thickness for the monster behind me. I do barbell rows, but I need other movements to add some thickness and make a back a slab of beef and not a cutting board. Give a brotha some help!
 
My general rule of thumb is wide grip excercises for back width, and close grip movements for back thickness. Try close grip seated rows, or reverse close grip pull downs, and bent over rows are a must in my book too, either traditional or reverse grip works great.
 
I found that heavy deadlifts really brought up my thickness in lower and middle back
 
there is a post on pics of members with a guy with a good back, and he explains what he does. i would tell you but i dont remember.......lol.......what works for me is close grip pulldowns and wide lat pulldown.

THATS FOR SURE!
Deads are the king of all back exercises, Followed by bent rows and then low rows and one arms!
