Back from Vacation.....

Didn't do much...one week off is not enough. I only started to relax 5 days into it.
I need to move to Europe where 5 weeks vacation is stantard. No wonder everyone in North America is miserable.
Could this be the reason Americans are fashion victims, simply because they are too tired for fashion?! ;-)

pintoca is from europe and gets a lot of vacation, but he has to wear a suit to work and his office building has no air conditioning.

i think they give them vacation time just to cool off and ... shower.

I just stayed in town and swam in my pool, slept, shopped and just chilled.
I was going to go to Vermont but the line ups at the border were over 3 hrs long. Since our Canadian $ is pretty much at par with the US, everyone is traveling there.

true....every time I went away, I would come back exhausted. Chilling in my yard, by my pool with my hunnies was alright!
One week is still not enough......My other 2 weeks off, I will save for now

I couldnt just hang out at home for a week as a vacation. I would end up working around the house, cleaning and doing other odds and ends, before I would realize it would be back to work. When I have a vaca I need to get away from home and work. But good for you that your able to do that.

One week for me is fine, but I could not do two weeks at home. Last yr when I had two weeks, my friends from Philly came in and we rented a place up north on a lake...that was awesome.
