Back acne

I've been using accutane for the past 2 months, first at 40mg, now at 80mg, doctor is going to bump it to 100mg because I want the acne completely gone from my back. It's starting to piss me off. My back was completely clear, like a new born, not one dot of acne until I started my cycle during the summer.

So I've been on accutane, the acne has cleared up somewhat, but I still have acne marks. It doesn't look good when you take off your shirt and you have all these marks on your back from the acne.

Anyone have any other ideas in order to clear the acne marks? How about B12?

i had that same problem...well still do....my back is smooth but i have the marks...doc is gonna prescribe me bleaching cream

if your talking about the scarring then tanning works wonders for a quick fix. accutane helps as well but takes much longer, i noticed the scars clearing months after i stopped taking accutane. so either time or tanning.

My back is completely smooth as well, but these fucking marks make it seem too obvious. I even thought of going tanning but I've heard it only temporarily hides the acne.

i have white blemishes all over my back where acne used to be. but, i don't know if it was from the tanning i did when I had acne, and after the acne cleared, those spots weren't tanned.. ;p

Yep, bleaching cream will do it. You can sort of get a decent effect with Retin-A and/or Mederma.

Tanning will disguise it slightly, instead of acne marks, you sometimes end up with it looking like freckles.

I had the same problem with acne on my back and what really sucks is I got a couple keloids as a result that drive me nuts. When I had acne on my back I would usually scratch the hell out of it and create scars which would have normally never have developed. Luckily it went away I still have the occasional zit but nothing bad. My only bad flare up was on my first cycle.

has any ever tried that proactive stuff? it wouldnt be as hard on u
