Hi guys, besides accutane, what are your acne cures on cycle.
Some say b5 some say b6, which one is it and how much do you recommend?

What else do you recommend to curb acne??

there's too much conflicting info in the few studies available on b-6 and acne.

b-5 on the other hand, is clear cut effective.

start with low divided dose and work up to 2 grams 3 or 4 times daily. If you still have skin oiliness and acne, check into the accutane.

topical help includes
suntanning booths
pimple products containing benzoil peroxide and/or salicylic acid (i prefer the latter)

Make sure you keep yourself clean too. This is critically important. Shower as soon as you can after working out etc using a bacterial soap preferably. Every little bit helps here.

Accutane is very harsh and regulated in the US and should only be used as a last resort, try everything under the sun first bro and goodluck to you! Tanning did wonders for me but eventually I had to take accutane for the dark cystic buggers.

ok, first off... -1 to accutane, it has terrible sides (harsh depression) and it didn't work for me.... 2 months of it.

Its basically pointless.. I just use proactiv and cetaphil moisturizer.

Tanning booth is good, cover your face with a towel 1/2 way through your tanning cycle...
One might notice initial skin irritation to the UV rays, but it'll go away about 10 times tanning.

I believe that Zinc is also a great supplement in terms killing acne.

I don't know what kind of acne you have, but you will want to get some supplements that assist in cell hydration, cellular repair, and anti-inflamatory properties.

I'd make sure you have some of the following:
Zinc (helps reduce redness and aid in cell renewal and repair)
Vitamin E
Omega 3
Vitamin A (helps reduce clogged pores)
Burdock root (supports the body's ability to remove toxins)
Turmeric
Co-Enzyme Q10
Chromium
Vitamin C
Copper

I also like Evening Primrose Oil, Vitex and a good combination of antioxidants.

B-5 deff, I take a super B complex that has both B-5 and B-6, so it's not really an issue for me to choose. lol.

Accutane worked for me, and the only sides I got were dry lips. THAT IS JUST ME THOUGH. One thing that worked for me was scrubbing my face with a cottonball soaked in rubbing alcohol after a hot shower. You'll be suprised how much dirt comes out. It might dry out your skin though.

how could I leave this out?

retin-a .. a topical vitaamin a derivative in the same family as accutane but much safer
