IVe been using B-12 injectible for about 5 years now-purchased at : www.calvetsupply.com
its vet grade with the EXACT same B vitamins and dosages as human grade.Previously the website only sold B-12 (which they still do) but theyve added the injectible form of the full range of B vitamins which Im using now.
Ive never gotten an infection or any health related concern in all 5 years from using these products-instead my appetite and energy levels remain high. Think about it-guys seem to be worried about the purity of the vet products-but what sense would it make to inject an unsterile possibly infection causing agent into stock and contest animals? My own doctor says that the human and vet grades are identical in content and the warnings are probably just to keep all of us novices from buying incredibly inexpensive B-12 to inject-but that its my risk to take. ..Currently Im doing 1.5 ml every third day and inject into the fat deposits at my waist with an insulin needle..the only problem at all is that the injections sometimes do tend to leave a small temporary lump and sometimes a slight bruise at the injection spot-massaging the area immediately after injection usually keeps both from happening.Otherwise in 5 years and 20 vials of B-12 Ive never had a problem with sterility or purity from this company.
No, B-12 Vitamin injectible is just the vitamin B-12 by itself
The B Complex injectible has the entire range of B vitamins in it.(with the same amount of B12 per ml that just plain B12 has)
If youre afraid of geting too many B vitamins then stick with the plain B12, although I think all B vitamins are water soluble and whatever your body doesnt use just passes thru your system..
Oh ok thanks. i'm gonna try just the b-12 itself and see how it goes. I want to see if it's that good from what the bros say. do you know if I can mix it with my test or eq???
I may try this as well. Being off cycle blows. I'll try a pharmacy tomorrow. With the increased hunger, are you guys finding yourselves eating more? If so, are you gaining fat? Losing fat? Staying at the same body composition? Is there any overall effect noticed on body composition? Thank you.
Vitamin B-12 injections are more easily absorbed by the body than taking the vitamin in pill form. The preferred form is Hydroxycobalamin (which is available only through a compounding pharmacy) as it is apparently longer acting and achieves higher B12 levels than Cyanocobalamin or Methylcobalamin. However, some patients prefer Cyanocobalamin because it is less likely to cause adverse reactions and stings much less than Hydroxycobalamin when injected.
Stomach acid destroys about 90% of B12 taken orally.
