Avodart or Finasteride?

My last question before I begin my cycle. Which of these 2 products should I use for my anti hairloss during/after my cycle? I will be using Nioxin/Minoxadil as topical, but has anyone had better/worse results with these pills?

Money is only a factor within reason..i.e. if Avodart is only slightly better, then I don't want to pay 2x as much for it.

Thanks again fellas/fellettes

Avodart (dutasteride) is more potent as it inhibits the action of two types of the 5-alpha-reductase enzymes, type I and type II. Propecia (finasteride) only inhibits type II. Clinical trials by GSK showed an increase in 96 (in 1 inch diameter) compared to just 72 hairs with Propecia (finasteride).
BTW: Look at the graph here: http://www.buy-avodart.com/buy-avodart/Avodart_Dutasteride_Hair_Loss.asp
You can find this graph on many places as it was published by GSK as part of their FDA trials.
Just 0.5mg of dutasteride (one capsule of avodart) outperformed 5mg of finasteride (which equals 1 tab of Proscar ot 5 tabs of propecia). Personally, I've my decision on using Avodart over Propecia a long time ago. On-cycle of off-cycle

is there any clinical study that ISN'T found on a site labelled "BUY-AVODART.COM"!!! :)

:laugh2: exactly. I heard it was good but shit at 100 dollars a month I cant afford it. I am more worried about the vortex(forehead) hair than the crown.

Junk, what about sides on this stuff too?

Good question about whether advodarts effectiveness justifies 2x the cost. I cannot personally say that it does yet (only on avodart 6 weeks), but the testimonials I have read on hairloss sites seem to say that it works much better. The thing about avodart is, it is not marketed as a hairloss product, so clinical studies are out there, but not as many as if it were being marketed that way. Junk speaks the truth on this subject.
> Terminator, stay with it. It took me about 8 months to actually see results. If finisteride only helps you keep the hair you have, it's worth it to me.
>Razor, do a search on google for hairloss forums & you can find some other studies.

Theoratically the sides should be pretty much the same as the sides of Finasteride which is also a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. Personally, I hever never experienced any loss of libido and certainly no gyno. Though some migh have initial loss of libido that's usually subsides pretty fast.

Is it ok to mix liquid finasteride with some sort of non-acidic juice? I hear it tastes like monkeypiss and I just ordered a bunch. Figured I would ask in advance. BTW thanks for the info guys.

One thing I have noticed is that hair on my body has slowed down on itws growth significantly (I'm NOT complaining...)
I only have to get my little brat to shave every other week instead of every week now (and I KNOW she loves that :p  )
