Avatar Problems

Yea i know this is the wrong forum, but I wanted to ask in here since us that hang out on this particular board usually have the best avatars anyway. I cant get a picure i like for my avatar on this damn thing!!!! I even took one of my girl I wanted to use with my camera phone on the least pixels setting, and the damn thing is still too big. And then i see some guys with these moving, changing, flashing avatars. WTF?!?!? Can someone help me out?

Take the picture you want to use as a avatar and put it in to paint on you'r computer.. you will find it in the start menu... choose picture/change size and start minimizing it.. when it's pretty small save it and rightclick on it and look what how many pixels it got.. under 100x100 is enough.. so 96 x 96 is good, over 100 x 100 pixels it wont work.. do this a couple of time's until it's under 100 x 100 pixels.. then upload it.. i hope you get it to work.. you'rs sincerly WLS
