hit profile, then change user options, then scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says avatar.

it needs to be under a certain file size or 100x100 in dimensions

What's up check. Click on "Profile," upper right hand corner, then, "edit options" and scroll to the bottom to "Change avatar"
