Have any of you ever been to an auto auction? Do you know of any free website I can go to get info on where they hold them? If you have attended... what kind of car can I get with $10 G's?

i just bought a 1999 ford ranger with a blue book value of 10k for $6k at a dealership.

the dealer bought it at an auction, so i'm assuming he only paid about 4k for it.

there is an autoauction place in lynn (not to far from where i live. also, birthplace of jim jones. so thats an added bonus).

at those auto dealerships it is all used car dealers that go and buy up all the cars, you can out bid them but then you might be paying to high

I thought he was born in Crete? They say Lynn b/c it is bigger and more likely to be known... so I've heard. Never been there.

yeah, im in indiana. i think he was born in crete, but raised in lynn.

anyway, im not far from muncie (where the guy who draws the garfield comic strip (jim davis) lives). when you go to muncie, they always have a sign that says 'welcome to muncie' with garfield on it. however, lynn doesn't try to capitalize on the jim jones connection.

that would be cool. a picture of the kool aid mascot holding a bible. 'welcome to lynn'. nope. nothing of the sort. no signs, no nothing.

nope. lynn & muncie are near the eastern border, east of indianapolis.

french lick is near the southern border.
