Anyone who has used accutane can you please share you doses, experiences with sides, what you did to control them and other great information that you could give.

I am thinking about using accutane, currently on week 5 of 1.2 g of test and some anavar, im getting mild acne on back/shoulders BUT I am doing this with tanning twice a week 3 different things that are dermatolgist perscribed (Benz wash, clydamicin wipes and differen gel at night).

I'm currently getting a few pimples here and there but they SUCK because they stay red/leave a scar for quite some time so my back will look bad and get these red dots on my shoulders (3-4 a week). My face is doing really well though I can totally deal with that. But I am creating a great body right now and would love to have NO pimples on my back cause its one of my best body parts!!! haha

Am I a accutane canidate? If so how long and when should I run it to clear my bacne up for good. I dont want to have to use accutane over and over again if I dont have to........ :(

with my first test/dbol cycle some time ago i got pretty severe acne on my uper and lower back and also on the shoulders. it stuck around for a while after. then...for my following cycle i did test/dbol again but added tren. i also used accutane @20mg/day.

not only did i not get any new acne at all but within the first 4 to 5 weeks all the existing acne was totally gone. so i discontinued it and it all stayed away.

1st side that i got was a queazy feeling in my stomach even while taking it with food. that ended when i started takijng it at night right after dinner, before bed.

2nd side i got was the dreaded severely dry, chapped lips. by week 4...they were fuckin' burning. luckilly my acne was gone and i was able to discontinue use. carmex or even the medicated chapstic helped 100%.

keep in mind that i used a fairly low dose. if you start it i would go low and up it if needed. do plenty of research on it bro. accutane is some fucked up serious shit. there are class action law suits against the makers of this drug. the sides in some patients were life threatening and some even permanent.

good luck. hope this info helps.

^^ so you didnt have a problem running the accutane with an oral (dbol)? i often read on here that you shouldnt use it while using an oral but if thats the case it screws up my next cycle that im planning. any further info/experiences would be greatly appreciated

you can get a way running accutane with an oral, but your putting your liver under a lot of stress by doing so, its bad enough on its own. As ive said numerous times on numerous threads I highly recommend accutane at a moderate dosage to anyone thats having problems with acne, whether its on cycle or not.

i took accutane when i was a kid and have been shedding hair ever since.. in rare cases it has caused perm hairloss even in woman.. so if you have a full head of hair and no hairloss in your family (like me) you might want to not worry about your little acne.. .. google accutane hairloss if you dont believe me.

oh fuck that then!! My acne isnt worth my hair, not in the slightest!!!

btw phaded who is that hotass girl

Took 1 20 mg tab and got the worst headache of my entire life.....also, severely dried lips for 1 week. Needless to say I didn't take it again.

If you are gonna try might want to get the 10mg tabs and see how you react to low dosages first. Lots of possible sides...read the phamplet it comes with and research on the net.

I'm on it now. I use 40 mgs twice a day. It's the only thing that cleared up my back and shoulders. The only side I get is chapped lips.

i was prescribed accutane for 6 months for my acne, just always had chaped lips n dry skin, im not supposed to have acne anymore and i dont so far

what kind of dosage were you taking phade?

no clue started taking it when i was in like 9th grade for facial acne.. by 10th grade my hairline was receeding.. and its never stopped .. my brother is now almost completely bald cause of it.. even though we dont have pattern baldness in our family.. we are 100% sure its cause of accutane..

sucks bro sorry yea, since I really dont NEED it I dont think im gonna mess with this stuff thanks for your help Phaded I REALLY appreciate it

I used accutane lotion before. What works really well is mixing accutane lotion with Ketoconazole lotion and putting on the breakout areas. Ketoconazole has a unique ability to act as an anti-androgen...but when applied topically it only has anti-androgen effects on the skin.

..it sped up my hairloss quite a bit also..it works by altering androgen metabolism..when you alter androgen metabolism at the dermal level you are playing with fire....works at the level of the sebaceous gland..i was prescribed three cycles at the time approx 6 months each(long ago)...the chapped lips was the main side effect. if i could have done it over again i would have not gone on accutane..it took my hairline back an inch over a two year period,,inch and a half in the temple region,,the rest is thanks to ergopharm 1-AD
