Attention AIM users.......

AIM is known to not have the best security, or any for that matter:worried: If someone on your network is using a "packet sniffer" or other type of traffic analyzing tool they can see your AIM conversations and read them word for word:evil:, especially if you are discussing gear. AIM Security using SSL Certificates makes your conversation appear much like trash to anyone analyzing what you type much like "Sw43jg73js7HSkg8Skeq3k65" instead of "Hey, I'm coming over to hit that ass, is the old man at work yet?:blow:". This certificate encodes the message so only the sender and the receiver can read the message. This should only make you this much safer on the internet:user: and make you feel cool having a padlock next to your name.

Follow the instructions exactly, if you don't, it may not work........if you have any questions just post on this thread.

www.aimencrypt.com .................check it out!

with aimencrypt and trillian both parties either have to have the aim ssl installed or both parties have to be using trillian to talk through a totally encrypted channel.. however aimencrypt gives out a public ssl certificate so anyone can use it and your conversation wont be encrypted.. trillian uses random ssl's so its a truly encrypted channel hope this helps..

however i dont think when dealing with gear its that important to encrypt your conversations.. if you are really paranoid get a mail account at hushmail.com or mailvault.com and send all corsepondences to juice through a pgp encrypted email.

I use trillian, but Im not sure if it encrypts when you chat w/ others that arent on th same system.

True, this application must be installed on both end users pc, for it to encrypt. I use it on all my laptops, and it's great. I also engineer this stuff and have been unable to "snoop" one of my encrypted converstations using it.

Is any of this coming with Spyware added. So many things these days are coming with Spyware. I spend so much of my time getting rid of crap on peoples computers that they are not aware of. Spyware can bring a perfectly good computer slow down to where you just want to throw it out the window. I hope they pass laws making it illegal like SPAM and go after these idiots.

This particluar product I gave a link to, does not have any spyware added, even for the shareware version. It's only crippled in the fact that you can use it for MSN, or AOL, or Trillian, but not all of the above at the same time, unless you purchase the pro version. I have tested it my my lab and found no spyware process or files associated with the secway encryption utility.

AIMencrypt is free and doens't come with any spyware at all.

See the thing is with AIMencrypt they have to set out to decrypt your convo. Without it clear text messages are being sent and someone could just be watching for the words like "sustanon" "trenbolone" or whatever. With AIMencrypt you get an added level of protection. At any given time there are several thousand AIMencrypted convos going on..which one do they decide to snoop?

I have it installed, feel free to hit me up on my AIM and we can discuss crimes and shit.
