Ativan?

generic name Lorazepam, type Minor tranquilizer Perscribed for relief os symptoms of anxiety, tention, fatigue, or agitation, yes they will make you sleepy if you take enough.

Yes there are in the benzo family and have very few sides and are probley one of the weakest I've taken come in 1/2mg. 1mg and 2mgs. I if I take 6 mgs. I feel pretty good but would rather have any other benzo cause they make me feel better xanax, diazapam, klonipins are great if you chew a ativan they have no taste at all like chalk Klonipins are my personal favorite

Ativan can be really addictive. As can all the diazepines. See a doc if you can sleep. Do your self a favor and don't self-medicate.

if you hafta use a benzo for sleep xanax is the best option - fastest onset of action and shortest duration, so less likely to leave you feeling sedated the next day. Ambien and Sonata are made for sleep and are much better choices.

Same class of drug as valium and xanex but considerably weaker. Ask your Dr. for ambien or sonata. These are much better sleep aids with very short half-lives so you will not feel drowsy in the morning.

ambien isn't cuttin it.

Maybe it was a freak night, but I took 2 ambien (5mg each) and couldn't sleep last night They worked wonders until then. I've been taking them for like 5 weeks, as roids seem to have a bad way of totally keeping me from sleeping- I mean bad! Just came across options that came my way recently. Maybe I'll try valium or xanax instead. I might see what a doc can perscribe as well.

doing too much

Dude if roids are keeping you awake at night you are doing way too much. Roids put me to sleep because they want to heal the muscle that gets broke down every night and that happens in your sleep.

This is not true. Some are kept awake from normal amounts of steroids. Because you are not does not mean that everyone who experiences insomnia from as use is using too much. I would advise against anyone using xanex or valium for sleep. For one they are addictive as hell. Also the half life is so long that there will still be considerable amounts left in your system in the morning causing drowsiness. Actually the half lives of these two drugs are so long that the next night they still would not have cleared your system. What you want is something that will put you to sleep but is no longer active once it is time to get up.
