Yes, ATD is an effective AI, and formestane is even more powerful. (similiar compounds)

some AIFM user experiences (a sampling)- also within these threads a discussion of the issues around oral ATD (half life and uptake in particular) and how AIFM deals with these. but to answer ATD is a potent aromatase inhibitor, similar in effect to aromasin (when properly delivered).
