Hooray for me. One step closer to the Army!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :Chef: :tuc:

I already have a recruiter. I took it in high school ten years ago and scored a 92. They said that was pretty fuggin' good! :Chef: :tuc:

Good luck, if you had a 92 then chances are you're only going to do better. I scored an 81 on mine and was only unqualified for nuclear type work. What did I do? I enlisted to be a combat engineer and wound up getting put in an MOS with guys who barely passed the ASVAB. Military efficiency wasting intelligence.

What are you looking to do for the Army?

Special Forces recruit(18x). Hopefully Medic or Weapons Specialist. If you pass the initial training, they determine what your job will be. They ask your preference but i don't think it matters!! :Chef: :tuc:

You can sign for a specific MOS but in my case I signed for 13xx thinking I was signing for 1371, but they gave me 1391. Reservists can get a specific MOS because their contracts have them based at a certain duty station and that place only has certain jobs.

If my arm heals properly I was thinking about 11b or 18b. Good luck in your journey.

Back in college, my girlfriend got a perfect score on the ASVAB and was the top cadet in her ROTC class for the Army... But they wouldn't let her enlist because she has a genetic hearing loss at low bass frequencies. They tried doing the hearing test 6 times to try and get her in... That, IMO, was a waste to not let her join. It isn't like she would have been in combat... Aren't there things she could have done that don't require being able to hear low range frequencies?? She was heartbroken....

Now she has settled for Law School...

I scored an 85 when I took it back in June. I leave for basic training at Lackland AFB November 29th.

How do those Special Forces contracts work? If you washout do they get to put you wherever they want?

I think they put you in Infantry. Mind you, I haven't got the contract yet. But I see no reason why I wouldn't. I know it takes a lot of hard work, perserverence, dedication and one helluva strong mind. I expect to work my hardest. :tuc: :Chef:
