Can you believe that people were trying to sell ruble from the WTC buildings on EBay? Nothing like trying to make a profit on misery - these people should be ashamed of themselves - along with those price gouging gasoline, food and water.
Yes but as soon as they pull one three more pop up. There are trying to get rid of all items - including things not related to the bombings - like postcars, WTC promotional items given out when it opened and things of that nature. they estimate that 40% of the items related to the WTC were in place before the bombings and weren't in place to make a profit on the situation but were removed as a show of sympathy.
They should have imbedded programs to block any attempt to list items containing keywords like "WTC", "World Trade", "Pentagon", etc. I know they have that capability, but it's probably taking a little time to get it activated.
Anyone trying to make a buck off this tragedy should have their nuts ripped off, like those assholes trying to sell t-shirts of the planes hitting the towers. Sick.
