this is the new Yamaha R1...the Limited Editon (LE) is the one with the gold rims...as follows: Ohlins full front suspension/ all adjustable. Ohlins rear suspension fully adjustable , including Ride height adjustments!!..Slipper clutch, Lap counter, Marcheninis Aluminum Rims and a host of other goodies...HP is Claimed at 175. however guys this is taken at the crank, not rear wheel but still thats alot of ponies. i dont care for the look of the LE model. there will be 500 made @ $18,000.00 each- providing the dealer doesnt jack up the price. the scoot looks alot better in person, ive seen on Two wheel Tues, camera went over the whole bike...pics dont do it any justice.

i beleive i heard mention of that during the show...there are 4 lights up front, very cool looking...i think the LE model will look better when she is stripped down...too much BS on there to see all the fine deatils...i like them alot.

hey boat boy...relax.LMAO not a company name...its the action of the clutch when downshifting at high speeds going into turns , this clutch reduces chatter and rear wheel lock up, allowing a smoother action upon entering an upcoming turn...ie: slows whell spin without locking up rear wheel intermittently....

Very nice! I've always liked the look of the recent Yamahammers but I have not heqrd alot of positive comments about ride quality.

Honda is still the bike for me.

I love to take that for a ride, hot lines (minus all the stock crap) ...actually it would probably ride me, that’s a lot of power...
I rode a friends 04 R1 this summer, liked it a lot. Twitchier than the Gixxer 1L but way easier to handle for a girl like me, the new R1 is smaller and lighter than my R6!

I’d love to do the trip down the coast, missed out this past summer, my girlfriends all road down to watch the Moto GP in Laguna but I was stuck here with work/school.

Have to see what the financial situation looks like in the summer, really don’t want to have to sell my baby. I think I need to start a fund, the “keep Misseh on two wheels charity”.. some how I don’t think that’s gonna work though

I'm sure we're all pretty much on the same page but i don't like to speak for others, I'll do what i can to help ya keep your baby! It's always a sad day when someone loses their wheels.
